Timing belt replacement promotion

Does your 2.0L, 2.7/2.8L V6, 4.2L V8, 1.8T, 2.0T or TDI powered VW or Audi need a new timing belt?

The timing belt is a critical part of your engine, it’s job is to synchronize the engine block (where the pistons inhale, compress and exhale the air) with the cylinder head (where the valves open and close to let air in and out). If that belt was ever to break or get out of alignment it most often results in costly repairs – bent valves, damaged pistons, even in some occasions complete engine failure if the break occurs at high RPMs.

The VW recommended interval for timing belt replacement varies from 125,000kms/7 years (1.8T/2.0/V6/older TDI engines) to 160,000km/7years (2.0T gas and newer 2.0TDI engines). Even if your vehicle has not been driven much it is still imperative to get the belt checked and replaced, the timing belts are made of reinforced rubber that cracks and weakens over time even though it hasn’t reached it’s recommend mileage replacement period.

We only install German made parts from Original Equipment Suppliers (OEM) like Continental and HEPU, all parts carry a 1 year/20,000km warranty – like your local dealership but at a more competitive rate. All necessary parts are included – all new rollers/tentioners and water pump. We replace VW’s plastic impeller water pump (who is known for premature failure) with a  metal impeller, german made, longer lasting equivalent. The service includes a complete coolant flush with VW coolant and fuel timing adjustments for TDI engines.

2.0L Engines (2000-2009 in Golf&Jetta City) start at 600$ for parts and labor plus tax

1.8T/older TDIs (up to 2006) start at 750$ for parts and labor plus tax

2.0T and newer TDIs (2008 and up) start at 900$ for parts and labor plus tax
